About Alex Monroe

Alex Monroe has long felt connected to the simple beauty of nature, and his love for wildlife and the great outdoors is apparent throughout his beautiful jewelry collection. Whether his inspiration comes from the hedgerows of Suffolk, hills of Italy or the mountains of Pakistan, there is always a certain sense of English-ness to be found in Alex’s work.

Alex Monroe was established in 1987, when Alex set up a little studio in South London to design and make jewelry. Although he has now worked for twenty years in the fashion industry, he has never been one to follow trends. Instead he has created his own distinct design signature of delicately detailed and pretty jewellery, stating, "The most important thing is to maintain quality at all times. Although I am interested in fashion I hope that I am using a design language that defies time."

Sometimes glamorous, sometimes cute, but always feminine, Alex Monroe's jewelry is made to the highest standard and has worldwide appeal.
